Golfing for Good

Our Annual Charity Golf Tournament has been a signature event for HEMIC’s philanthropy efforts since we launched it on our 20th anniversary. And, after skipping last year because of COVID, we were very excited to return to the fairways on August 5th to help a great cause – Big Brothers Big Sisters Hawai‘i.

This year’s tournament was our first to run under the banner of the HEMIC Foundation. We exceeded our goals and brought in more sponsors, golfers, and vendor tents than our previous tournaments generating a net profit of $45,000K – our largest net profit to date!

Through the Foundation, HEMIC’s long history of philanthropy will continue to support organizations that care for our local community, especially families and children, in meaningful ways. We were honored to be able to help Big Brothers Big Sisters Hawai‘i continue its mission.
