Communities on the North Shore of Kauai have been devastated by recent flooding, and it will take time, resources and effort to help them begin recovery. On the Big Island, the Puna lava flow continues to impact the affected communities. HEMIC has donated $5000 to The Salvation Army for their local disaster relief efforts: to provide food, water, clothing, emotional and spiritual support to those affected by these recent events. The Salvation Army will use 100% percent of these funds to support their emergency disaster services in Hawaii.... Read More
To commemorate our 20 years of dedication to the Hawai‘i business community, HEMIC celebrated with a charity golf tournament on July 31, 2017 at Waikele Country Club. All net proceeds from the event will benefit the Arthritis Foundation. The event brought together our industry partners and colleagues for a day of fun, sun, golf and fundraising. More than $40,000 from sponsorships, teams, raffles, mulligans and a silent auction will help the Arthritis Foundation achieve their mission.... Read More
