SAFETY

At HEMIC, we have found that the key to loss prevention is to create a safer workplace. By eliminating exposures, HEMIC has helped employers prevent losses and minimize risks that can cause human suffering and/or financial loss.

We promote safety in the workplace through timely publication of articles on safety issues, by conducting our “Pathways to Safety” seminar series that is free to all insured members, by providing a lending library of videos about safety and loss prevention, by offering incentives for employers to embark on a program of making a safer workplace, and by rewarding “safe” companies with lower premiums.
